UPDATE:  Here are some new links.  I don't get any blog points for my snappy graphics since it's technically an image

and deems my content under 50 words.  Geez, these things are a lot of work!

Audrey, I'm trying to get use to these light bulbs that don't have the instant on.  It is sure taking some getting use to though.

You just proved that posts about living "green" don't have to be boring!  Great job!

Marchel--I've got one of those as well!  Not all of them have that "feature," so I guess in 2 or 3 years you can get a different one :)

Margaret--green's getting better!

Hi Audrey - what a great post this is - full of easy simple things each of us can do to do our part.  It's these kinds of how-to posts that will reach those of us just learning about little things we can do to make a difference.

Nice post!

Very well done, as much as I sometimes hate to see the "Green" used by corporate america as marketing it is really starting to have an impact and we do need to be more environmentally concerned.

Thanks for visiting my site and commenting on my Referral Exchange post.  I appreciate the time and effort.  Julie Jalone in Sacramento

Ann--Glad you like the format---I was targeting the "wants/needs to know the basics on green" group, which is really a lot of us!

Julie--Yeah, it's more of a lifestyle than a buzz word, but can be abused.

Greenolina--Thanks for the compliment; I want "green" to be not just an "out there" or "for someone else" deal.  It's feasible for all of us, one step at a time!

Audrey.... some good tips and pointers. We need reminders such as these... overall, we need to keep talking about these things, making the public aware and educate them.

Audrey, This post doesn't "fit" my screen. I use Internet Explorer, as many do. You might want to find out why it doesn't fit. Some of your clients might not be able to read your post.
