Before you sell internet based product please make sure it works.I recently committed to a year of an Internet service that was supposed to make it easier for me to make money.

However, I think that it is highly unlikely that I will get any return on my investment. Try as I might, I cannot get the service to work.

Several calls to tech support have only added to my apprehension. According to customer support, the site is being upgraded, and a lot of features are not working as they should.

What?

You took my money, and THEN decide to tell me I won’t be able to use the site.

Was I offered a refund?

No.

Was I offered an extension on my subscription?

No.

Was I offered an apology?

Well, yes, they said that they were sorry that my “customer experience did not live up to my expectations.”

No it did not.

I expected it to work.

Richard...And there is no going back on them, unless your credit card company will help. Sometimes if they know you were scammed they will.

We're all beta-testers here. Your experience is at the low end of the spectrum, but we all have to learn how to deal with upgrades and updates all the time.  Anymore.

Always good to have a credit card company that will go after these type of fraudulent deals if needed.

The power of the internet and blogging about the specific company  or product can be an alternative so others do not fall to prey.

This can be very frustrating: not getting what you paid for and no customer service. You never did say what application it is Richard.

Richard -- this sounds kind of like the marketing plan an unnamed software company seemed to use for quite a while -- "fixes and upgrades are on the way."    Good luck getting something that actually works for you.

Richard, That would be more than just a little bit irritating.  At a minimum I'd be expecting an extension of service.
