Well, at least he hit one down the first base line.  Foul.  At least he connected against major league pitching!  That's more than a lot of 20-year olds can do...much less someone nearing 60.

Sure, it is a publicity stunt by the Yankees, but who can give them a hard time about letting a good guy like Crystal make a dream come true?  Have some fun, life a little:  life isn't always so serious.  We all can use the chance to just enjoy what is in front of us...a game, a dream, the crack of the bat and some roasted peanuts.

Ahh...the love of a game and the chance to just enjoy it.  Spring Training is something special, isn't it?

Major League Baseball is an entertainment industry. I see nothing wrong with what transpired as it was during a meaningless spring training game. Billy did a great job too, especially considering his age. And the fans ate it up. To me, this is a good moment for baseball, something it really needs - with all of the other nonsense going on.

Kent, this is truly a great story for baseball. I have heard a lot about this moment and wish that I could have seen it as it happened.

Kent, I think this is great, thanks for the video. I know some feel it's not right for celebrities to take part in baseball, but I'm sure most guys would jump at the chance, heck I would!
