I would like to gather 100 reasons buyers should buy now - add yours

I posted 10 reasons. That can be a start but with this market, many buyers are still on the sidelines. I would love to give them 100 reasons to buy NOW. Please add your thoughts and let's see if we can hit the magic number of 100.

There is "pride of ownership" that accompanies the purchase of a home!

Tax breaks from mortgage interest write offs and real estate tax deductions.

•1. UNBEATABLE INVESTMENT.

Even in down markets, over the long term home prices still appreciate more than the stock market.

•2. LOW INTEREST RATES.

Rates remain at near-record lows; you can lock in a payment that fits your budget.

•3. AVAILABLE LOANS.

Lenders are still eager to make loans to borrowers with good credit.

•4. GREAT SELECTION.

With so many homes on the market, you can get the features you want!

Don't you have to live somewhere's It might as well be yours.

You will no longer be investing in your landlords mortgage but your own.

Because the only way you'll know you're seeing the bottom of the market is when you're seeing it receding in the rear-view mirror, and consequently you will be paying more for the house that you could get cheaper now.

Because, if you're moving up in size and price, the downturn in prices works for you, and even though your house will sell for less, you'll spend less and mortgage less on your new house in this down market than you would if the market were appreciating. This is a chance to make your money the only way money is really made in real estate--you make it when you buy, not when you sell. This is the time to make it by BUYING.

Interest rates are great, coupled with the fact that we may be AT the bottom of the market. You know what your buying power is today, how will you feel next month if your selection is less and your money buys you less?
