There are so many Active Rain members that I would like to meet and for different reasons. Donna Foerster’s October Challenge, Who Would You Like to Meet Live and In Person? asks us to highlight 3 people we would like to meet.
I'm sure many of us can easily come up with 30+ names of members we'd like to meet. How in the world do we limit it to three?
I've had the pleasure of sharing phone calls, emails and Facebook interactions with several Active Rain members. That makes it even more difficult to trim my list to only 3 people to feature in this series of posts. But if three it is, than one of my three has to be the one and only, Jerry Newman.
When Jerry joined Active Rain, he immediately made friends all across the community. He is always eager to share new technology or products that he thinks can help his fellow 'Rainers. Jerry features several members in his Facebook Fridays posts where readers are invited to visit, "Like," and comment on those members' Facebook Business pages. It's a great way to jump start or enhance the reach of members' Facebook presence.
Jerry spent over 22 years in the military. He has had quite a rich and diverse life. Now, as a real estate expert, he uses his expertise to assist military families with their relocation needs. In addition to general information on the San Antonio real estate market, he often writes about issues specifically affecting the active duty and veteran military communities. Jerry has now added being a Green Real Estate specialist to his repertoire.
And, like the true Ambassador that he his, Jerry started a group, Introducing Newbies in Active Rain, to welcome newcomers. Jerry always has a moment to help out a fellow 'Rainer.
