Busier than a One Armed Man in a Wall Paper Hanging Contest
I seem to once again slip from my blogging routine. Gosh, I know how important a good blog strategy it to any business in this day and age. I feel like I have taken a step backwards in time, by ignoring my trusted and faithful blog….
So let me just catch up by sharing that life continues to march forward on so many different levels. I don’t want to consume this with negative news, but I would like to share, because I am often asked about my wife, Sherri. She has been on hospice care for the last several months, with her cancer. Last month she took a serious nose dive for 2 to 3 weeks and I really thought we were at the end. Then, praise God, once again, she literally just snapped out of the spiral and brought herself up to a comfortable level once again. Unfortunately, it just isn’t as high a level as the one she left. I am sure it is only a matter of time, but that’s OK, because like all of us…it is only a matter of time. The Good News is she KNOWS exactly where she is headed because "to be absent from the body is to be with the Lord!"
On a completely different note, my business has taken off like a rocket. I have built my team with the assistance of a REALTOR® partner to the point where we have hired a full time buyers agent and two full time administrative assistants. In addition, I am keeping a General Contractor and his sidekick busy with over 80% of their work. So, I can’t say with any real confidence that I am making any money, but I sure am helping the local economy by spreading a lot of it around!
I am in the process of writing a series of articles on my activities in the REO world, answering questions like:
- What Does it Take To List REO Properties?
- How Do You Get References if You Have Never Listed an REO?
- What Are My Sources for REO Listings?
- Why Are BPO’s so Important?
- What Documentation Do You Need To List REO’s?
- What is My Role In Property Management?
- How Do I Determine if a Property is Vacant?
- What Safety Precautions Do I Take?
- What if Someone is Home? What if it’s a TENNANT???
- How Do I Secure the Property?
And So Much More to Come in the next couple of weeks.
So, I f you are either an Investor, first time home buyer, move-up buyer or even a REALTOR® interested in finding out a little bit about the current REO Market in Hemet, CA and the surrounding South West Riverside County in the Inland Empire region of Southern California, please come back and visit this blog on a regular basis for answers to these and more questions.
Not only am I planning on answering the many questions about the REO industry, I plan on giving very specific market condition updates and highlights of some really great properties that I will track as soon as they come on the market following up with updates once they close escrow...so you'll see first hand how this diverse market is working.
Blessing to all who read this,
