Mortgage Rates Up Again

The interest rates have picked up again on the fixed 30 year mortgage to 4.23 percent last week 4.22 percent.  I know that we are concerned with the movement of the market but that amall a change will not stop many from being able to afford a home.

Often we are becoming panicked when there is an up tick increases.  Mortgages are very low at this time.  Have a great week and let it be prosperous.

Tim at the beginning of the buying season the rates were in the low 3's, interesting how things change. Even at 4.25% its win win.

Remember all spring and summer when we preached jump off the buyers fence with these historical low rates?  Many listened many did not and now get to pay a higher rate.  Still not as high as it has been in the past or could be in the future making today a good day to buy a home!

Mortgage rates are up and still very good. Buyer's disposable income is down starting January 1 2014 with the obamacare health premiums rising. I personally know buyers who are now paying for 50% more for their health insurance - and this will effect their income to purchase a home.

I know that the middle class will be hurt far above what they thought by Obama Care.

Tim, our weather and school calendar control the sales from mid-September to mid-February so most buyers are done for the season in our area.  Rates are still great and the big unknown will be in 2015 how employers covered by health care mandates will react to the new regulations once they are implemented.

Not everyone needs a mortgage and push the owner financed land seller carried loans and court and spark, woo the cash sale buyers who don't need to borrow money!

The new laws of Dodd Frank will limit all carries and owner finance.  You will find yourself on the hook.
