Good morning all-I couldn't let this day go by with doing this post for one of my favorite people and a favorite of so many here in the Rain. He has an amazing following of people from the esteemed Lenn Harley to many fairly new bloggers. Roger is such a wonderful friend to so many including myself. He is a super talented person and Sheraton furniture is lucky to have snatched him up. He has done amazing things since he went to work there.
I virtually met him a while back and have been a friend ever since. He has a group called Taking it off in the Rain and has been very supportive of myself and anyone who wants to lose weight. His blogs are a fun read and always interesting. He is a shoot from the hip kind of fellow and tells it like it is.
He is a wonderful and caring friend, son and brother. He took care of his Mom Mickey for several years and did an fantastic job. He play rummy with her every Tuesday and she beats him most of the time. She recently celebrated her 94th birthday and Roger enlisted the help of his AR friends and she received 88 birthday cards, flowers and playing cards from his legion of followers and friends.
Now this is his second birthday post. His BARFF, Kathy Streib also did one, In addition Sharon Tara who does the cutest Wordless Weds post of her grandbabies. Did a wordless Happy birthday to Roger that is so adorable.
