What do homeowners want most in their kitchens? I have to agree with this survey based on what buyers ask for when we are home shopping and how they want to utilize the kitchen itself.
Stainless appliances and hardwood floors are the top 2 requests. I would also like to add that most homeowners would 'prefer' granite or marble counter tops UNTIL they check out the prices. There aren't very many mid-range homes that can actually recoup the costs involved.

Lyn-Granite and stainless steel appliancies are two fo the top vote getters here too. I'd say tile is the preferred floor covering in kitchens with clients I encounter.

That's a nice kitchen, for sure. I don't like stainless, but I would like to have my sink MOVED to the center of the window. It's to the left, and it's off center. Other than that . . . maybe a new counter top. Kinda like the photo, I'll give you that!

Deb: That faucet right over the stove is the most popular too. No more lifting those heavy pots to your gazillion $ stove.
Carla: I can see how that would bug me. I do like the new deeper country sink that is shown too.
