Why I love my condo in Ormond By The Sea Florida

There are so many good things to say about my condo in Ormond By The Sea Florida and the location is certainly among the top reasons.  Just about a 5 minute drive along the beach to my office in the morning is a welcome commute after having to spend an hour or more for many years getting into Boston every day.  Another of the top reasons is the view.  Beautiful sunrises early in the morning and lots of times there are other activities and the Atlantic ocean is always beautiful to look at and soothing too.  

There are many parks in and around Ormond By The Sea and although I personally spend very little time there it is a great feature of this unincorporated area in Volusia County Florida.  There is always something to do in the area from Daytona Beach to Flagler Beach including festivals, arts, museums and much much more.  There are special events like Bike Week and the Daytona 500 that draw hundreds of thousands of visitors.

The ocean view is terrific and is available from my kitchen, living room and bedroom which is a great feature of living across the street from the beach.  There are many times I will sit on my patio and relax and enjoy the view, just sitting with my cocktail and watching the waves roll in.  With the patio door shut I cannot hear the doorbell or the phone so I can be alone in my own little world for a short time.
I enjoy watching the surfers, shrimp and other boats, kite surfers, dolphins, birds diving into the water to get their next meal and give many thanks for my condo at the beach that makes it feel almost like a vacation when I am at home enjoying the views.
