Northwest Arkansas Fall Craft Fairs

IMG_0480Known as "War Eagle Weekend", Northwest Arkansas hosts over 200,000 visitors from all around the country visiting it's renowned arts and craft fairs in May and October each year.  This year's fall shows start on October 16, 2013 with the opening of The Spanker Creek Farm Arts and Craft Festival in Bella Vista, AR.

Bella Vista, AR also hosts the Bella Vista Arts & Craft Festival.  Now in it's 45th year, this craft fair is known as the premier festival of the area.  All work at the fair is hand crafted and it never carries items that are bought and resold.  You can expect high quality and unique workmanship from the crafters at this fair.  The excellent reputation of this fair causes it to continue to grow in size every year.  It's a perfect place to find a well crafted, special gift!

war eagleThe most famous of the craft fairs is The War Eagle Fair.  Located on the grounds of the historic War Eagle Mill and alongside the War Eagle River in Rogers, AR, this fair provides for the most serene setting of all!  Visit the War Eagle Mill while you are there, shop and enjoy live demonstrations, samples or lunch in the restaurant upstairs.  Enjoy the walk across the wooden bridge over the river and visit the Sharp's Show in War Eagle which is adjacent to the river on the opposite side.   With so many crafters to see and the beautiful surroundings, it is no wonder people come from miles around to the The War Eagle Fair.

From Bella Vista, AR south to Springdale, AR there will certainly be a craft fair that everyone will enjoy!   For a complete list of the Northwest Arkansas Arts & Craft Fairs CLICK HERE.

Arkansas looks like a really pretty place.  I need to make a trip.  I love craft fairs.  And the War Eagle Mill sounds interesting as well.
