Seen this in a Sacramento Termite Report Today – It’s New To Me!

Someone help our friend Tom out on this one.  We almost lost a buyer for our OWN lakeside home, due to termite questions.  It was in the woods, there are termites, but our 4' high cement foundation closed the deal.  We had termite reports from Terminix (monthly visits!), but none like the one in Tom's blog.  Help him solve this mystery, if ya' can!

Something a Little Different in a Sacramento Termite Report Today – It’s New To Me!

I have been getting a ton of calls to look at Dry Rot damage repair in Sacramento this last week. The majority of the calls are from agents and owners who need to satisfy the Termite Report before closing. This is not anything new to me; I’ve been doing dry rot repairs for decades.

I received a copy of a report today that had something in it that I’ve never seen before. On the floor plan drawing, there was a photo that listed the areas of fungus (shown with an F) in the drawing. If you are familiar with the standard Termite Report this drawing may look a bit odd to you to!

The reports can be a bit confusing to those that have never seen one. Sometimes, it can be confusing to the professionals too.  :)

Thanks for the reblog!
