Looking for something fun to do this Halloween season? You can dress up and trick-or-treat around your neighborhood or you can check out some of these fun events below for something different. Many events are Free. Don't forget to wear your constumes! I need to take a look and see if I can still wear that Catwoman costume in my closet.... (maybe not...:) Enjoy!
Austin
October 5-31 - MUMC Pumpkin Patch, Manchaca United Methodist Church. 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Festival includes family fun, a hay ride, children's games, a moon jump, food, a cakewalk, crafts, prizes, clowns, music and more! FREE. (1011 FM 1626 at Manchaca Rd)
October 25 & 26 - Boo at the Zoo, 6:30 - 9 p.m., Austin Zoo & Animal Sanctuary. Austin Zoo's annual fall fundraiser benefiting rescued animals. Haunted train ride, haunted house, and spooky lights all throughout the zoo. Call 512-288-1490 to purchase tickets for a specific date and train ride time. 48 hou4 cancellation. October 24 Spooky Snacks & Creepy Crafts, 6 - 7:30 p.m., YMCA North Austin Branch. Make healthy, Halloween-themed snacks and crafts. Admission is $5 for an individual child or $10 for the whole family. (1000 W. Rundberg Ln)

October 27 Austin Symphony Halloween Children's Concert, 2 p.m., Long Center. Austin Symphony presents its annual Halloween Children’s Concert with entertainment for all ages! Tickets are $8 for children; $12 for adults. (701 W. Riverside Drive)
October 27 Goblins in the Garden, 4 - 7 p.m., Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. Face Painting, Scavenger Hunt, Costume parade, Trick or Treat at candy stations. Dress up.! Halloween at the Y, Saturday, October 26, 4 - 10 p.m., Old Settlers Association. One of the largest Halloween events throughout Central Texas, this festival will include carnival games, inflatables, rides, climbing walls, Halloween candy, music, prizes, concessions, a costume contest, and more. Admission is $5, and parking is free at the Dell Diamond. (3300 E Palm Valley Blvd, across from the Dell Diamond)
