Happy Friday!
TGIF it's Friday! How did your week go? I can't believe how fast the days went by this week, I hardly had time to post anything this week but at least was able to do some commenting every day.
Tuesday afternoon I received a call from the attorney handling one of my short sale listings with some exciting news! Short sale approvals had been received by both lenders now - great news - except that time was running out and the sale had to close within two days or the property would be taken by the first lienholder as a deed in lieu under sellers HAFA agreement.
Luckily, my buyers were cash buyers and ready and willing to move forward. Still, it made for a couple of hectic days getting everything coordinated! Inspections took place the same day! Buyers had to make arrangements for their fund transfer as well as their utilities. Everyone worked together and Thursday afternoon the closing took place relieving sellers of a burden they carried around for a long time and providing the buyers with their new home that they had patiently waited for many months!
To close out the week, I attended the CRS Florida Chapter2014 Leadership Transition Conference, learned a lot of new things, made some new friends and reconnected with some old friends and generally had a great time!
