La Mesa Park Appreciation Day-- until NOON today

It’s Annual Park Appreciation Day in La Mesa

Today, Saturday, October 19 from 8AM until 12 noon, volunteers will be arriving by the dozens to help clean up and beautify La Mesa’s wonderful Parks. There are 14 parks in all-- after all, La Mesa has been designated a Tree City USA for years now.

If you didn’t already sign up to help, stop by your favorite La Mesa park anyway, and lend a hand. Helpers of all ages are welcome, and the projects include raking, weeding, trimming, and trash pickup. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and everyone must sign Park Waiver
