We are remodeling our kitchen as I have blogged before....like the tale of the Three Bears...we found remodelers who were too this, not enough that....and have now settled on one that is "just right !"
We have made many choices with features and appliances and still have a few selections to finalize...all with thorough research of the manufacturers, materials, etc. that will become part of our home.
Part of the remodeling is flooring in the kitchen/dinette. The present maple floor will be replaced with cork. The choice of a vendor for this job was a no-brainer. We knew that Debbie Gartner, AR's 
own flooring gal would probably not bring a "floor to our door"....so we did the next best thing. We have been
soooo impressed with 
the knowledge and training that she has so generously shared with us, we called Matt and Katrina Werner from our local Floor Coverings International Store and they will be our own "Wisconsin flooring gal and guy" for our kitchen. Mmmm cork...so much easier on the feet for our long soup-a-thons and entertaining "from scratch" dinners. We are looking forward to it !
YES....as this venture progresses....we will share it with pictures of the finished room. Active Rain can be active in soooo many ways ! Thank you Debbie for taking the time to talk to me about cork....and we look forward to working with Matt and Karina and enjoying the spring in our step on our new floor !
