I Know The Football Game Is On But Your House Is On The Market!
This is so appropriate for today --- being a Sunday and there are some GREAT games on, but if a Seller has their home on the market, head out to the nearest sports bar and finish watching. Allow the buyers the privilege of touring, and you may see an offer when the game is over! Tamara Inzunza made some great points for GAME DAY! GO Broncos!

I Know The Football Game Is On But Your House Is On The Market!
It's Sunday, the game is on, you're in your 'position' on the couch. You've got your food, your drinks, and most important, you've got your remote control. The quarterback locks on to the wide receiver, the team needs this touchdown to win. He's just about to get sacked when he throws the ball downfield. He's open, wide open, he's running toward the endzone, he goes up for the catch then.........DING DONG.......the doorbell rings and it's buyers who are stopping by to take a look at your home.
Perfect timing right??? Yes, perfect timing, because this buyer might be the one who falls in love with your home and submits an offer. That means...you still have to leave for the showing.
I know it's 4th quarter, I know your team needs to score, I know that the buyers 'had all day to come by to see the house'. But when the doorbell rings, you've got to go!
Even staying in the same room with the TV could hurt your chances with a potential buyer. What if you are cheering for the team they hate (it could happen), what if they are too timid to look at that one room and are uncomfortable asking you to leave. What if they really like your house, but can't get past not being able to 'see' the whole house. They may not have time to come back for a second showing.
The weekends are when most buyers are out looking at homes, so you will likely get more showings on Saturdays and Sundays. So even if it's for the championship, even if it's 4th quarter and your team really needs this touchdown or field goal to win, even if the game is just starting, I know the football game is on, but your house is on the market. That means...you've got to GO!
