One of My Favorite Gainesville Views is in Meadows at Morris Farm
Meadows at Morris Fam was a community that built up during the mid-2000s real estate boom in Gainesville, VA. I remember second guessing my husband's and my decision to buy a few neighborhoods down in Braemar when I saw what was coming with Morris Farm. The forty-five conservation area looked to be one of the nicest features I had seen, while driving from one new construction community to another. It's an official bird sanctuary.
One of the favorite photographs I have ever taken, in just blogging about the community, was one of a bench overlooking the conservation area in the late spring/early summer. There is is just something so relaxing about the photo. So when I am in the neighborhood, I make sure to have my camera handy to snap either another season in the conservation area, or just an updated pic.
Recently, late on an chilly autumn afternoon, I was able to capture this same view. You'll notice the benches have been stained. And just as the one from the spring is cheery and bright, this one brings the enchantment of the fall season.
I was able to snap this one from down in the conservancy area itself before it got too dark to get a good shot. This is a great dusk shot of the Morris Farm conservancy area.
If you are interested in living Morris Farm, there is a wide variety of housing available, including townhouses, semi-detached homes, carriage homes, courtyard homes and large single family homes. I'd love to show the neighborhood and it's amenities off to you.
