Bocce Ball Is Like Life | Games Teaches Us Lessons
That's my Bocce Ball team this morning looking at a very close shot. You try to roll your bocce ball down the court to be the closest to that little yellow ball in the middle. Bocce is popular at Over 55 communities and active adult centers. We play at the Adult Center in Johns Creek GA.
This morning I was on the best team but we lost 2 out of 3. I say the best team because the team members were known to be some of the best players. We won the first game by a wide margin. Then on the second game the other team came from behind and beat us. Well the third set we lost our confidence and they killed us 11 to 0. Zero!
Sometimes the best team doesn't win. You have to keep your focus and your eye on the ball and never give up. We forgot that and it cost us. But next Wednesday we play again and it's a new game!
