If you've read about the Charlotte area, chances are you've heard about Myers Park and will want to drive through on your first day of touring the city. There's just no better introduction to the area than a drive down Queens Road; the winding, wide street simply envelopes you in 100-year old pin oaks. The stately architecture is captivating and no matter how many times you traverse the streets of Myers Park, you see something new and interesting each time you do.
Myers Park and Dilworth are two of Charlotte's most popular historic communities and typically hold their own, regardless of the economy. Don't get me wrong, we definitely felt the recession in these two communities but, as they were the last to 'feel' the recession, they were the first to show signs of rebounding in early 2012.
