Hello World.  The problems in our industry continue to spread to Wall Street.  If you are a shareholder of Bear Stearns, you are down around 40% on your shares today.  This is not some small company getting clipped, but one of the big players.

The Fed, with the help of JP Morgan, is working on some sort of capital infusion to help bail out the company and provide some desperately needed liquidity.

The conference call is in about 10 minutes.  The stock is currently trading down about 21 points to 36 dollars per share.  I wouldn't be surprised to get a bit of a dead cat bounce, but I would steer clear from this mess.

The stock market did hold its recent lows this week.  They may be tested again later today.

These are very interesting times, indeed.

Keep Rocking,

Ken

Better buyer rates is the up side. Fannie and Freddie will be the big bomb soon.

Even my stalwart Goldman & Sachs is getting hammered this year.  It is ugly out there for sure.
