The company Housefax.com has launched what it says is the first national property data service that delivers comprehensive reports to consumers that show home histories of building permits, mortgage information, fire, flood, sink hole and other important residential property records. The reports, available to anyone, can be purchased for $59.
“Many homes have been neglected, rented, foreclosed or left vacant, and today’s buyers are far more cautious,” says Housefax CEO Eddy Lang. “When finalizing a contract on a home, inspection reports often threaten closings too late in the process, and can miss hidden red flags like mold, fire and flood damage, or even meth labs, sink holes, earthquake fault lines and other hazards.”
Lang said his company is serving a critical consumer need, “ giving buyers peace of mind, and bringing more trust, diligence and greater certainty to the housing market.”
