What's So Great About Pennsylvania?
I have to admit, some of you know, some of you don't, but I wasn't born in Pennsylvania. I'm originally from Long Island NY. I moved to Pennsylvania for personal reasons about 9 years ago and I decided to stay. That's gotta say something about this state!
I like the fact that Pennsylvania is very "farmy", which isn't a real word, but I'm going to use it anyway. Living on Long Island, we didn't have these views.
What's so great about Pennsylvania? Maybe it's because it reminds me of simpler times where jobs consisted of working on farms, but is definitely has a calming feel to it. Long Island was rush, rush, rush and crowded! I don't live in the boonies by any means, but there are a few local farms near me like Merry Mead up the road. It's a nice mix of "farmy" and civilization.
To some people, "farmy" isn't there ideal place to live. And that's your choice, just like staying here was mine.
