Using Your Noggin and Applying Common Sense to Sacramento Real Estate

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

no common senseI'm not sure what happened with my old Samsung, because I never had this feature, but my new iPhone now tells me when I am receiving multiple phone calls -- meaning, when I am on the phone talking to a person, and another call comes in, followed by a third call, my phone tells me this.

This feature gives me permission to end my conversation with the dude who is looking for free advice, answer the second call, disconnect when I discover it's the dreaded Homes.com or some other horrid telemarketer, and then I can actually weed through the crap calls to get to the person who needs my help. You know, the woman or guy who wants to sell or buy a home in Sacramento.

Good Morning Elizabeth,

Technology has come a long way....

We now can't live without it and I think we  are all co dependent.

All those Homes.com and similar people have been told that I want to be taken off their list.  These days I rarely get one of those junk calls.  Try it and you'll waste less time with the junk calls.

Hey Sarah: I have no reason to diss technology.

Hi Bryan: I tell them over and over to put me on their do not call list and I remind them that I am on the national do not call list, and I report them, but they just don't stop. Especially homes.com. Repeat offenders, total disregard.

Common sense is one that is hard to come by most days.  Overthinking and making things more complicated than they need to be is what I see a lot of, particularly in real estate.

Elizabeth - It's amazing how smart our phones have become.  I love the caller ID feature on my phone, it really does allow you to make better decisions on your time and who to talk to and when!

That is something I enjoy but I also am playing phone tag with a Google ad lady.  We have a phone conversation set up for Friday at 11.  I'm looking forward to it.
