It is really easy to rant and rave when something goes wrong. Boy, old so and so sure messed up that one! Or, I can't believe the other agent didn't know how to do this or that. Yep. It really is easy. Know what's not? Ranting and raving when someone does something above and beyond. Today I am ranting and raving about a good thing!
I called an agent a day or so ago and asked about showing one of her listings for a second time to a couple who were interested. I found out that she had just put the property under contract. Too bad, it was a great home. But then we started talking. She had a new property in the same neighborhood, actually right next door to the first property, that would be coming up for sale soon. I asked if we could get a sneek preview, and she said she would find out.
Turns out the owners were in Florida, so she arranged with the owners for the OK to show, got to the home that evening after a long day, opened up the home, had all the lights on, and greeted us at the door. Even better, she was available to answer questions about the neighborhood (She also lived there) yet allowed me to walk through the home unmolested.
I think this agent went beyond the call of duty and I will look for reasons to work with her in the future. If you are looking to list a home in the Nesbit Lakes subdivision in Alpharetta Georgia, I don't think you could get a better agent than Jill Sloan, 404-931-5342.
