Since this Navarre Florida home was an investment property, we thought Green Tree, via the secondary market investor, would ask for a cash contribution. This is more common with investment properties than primary residences. Suprisingly, there was no such request nor any for a promissory note. We obtained approval with a full waiver of deficiency. Short sales with Green Tree will become more common in Navarre due to Bank of America releasing many of the loans they service to them and Nationstar Mortgage.
