Home and condo sales have increased over 35% compared to 2012 and in some locations prices are rising for the first time in 5 years. While the residential segment of the market stages it’s comeback, the vacant land / home site segment is still sluggish for sellers. Land is selling, showing a mild improvement in 2013 most likely due to the sell off of residential properties, but as a general comment, buyers still have a strong opportunity to purchase small and large tracts of land and homesites at prices that resemble very low, pre-2004 values.
