Welcome folks to another spine tingling, action packed round of "The Real Estate Show" .

Fireworks In Maine Light Show PhotoWhere correct answers are screamed, hollered out under extreme pressure, excitement.

On garden variety myths about the list, twist and sell that are your ticket to fame and fortune.

Or a chintzy parting gift as you are given the boot for the bus ride home.

This week's series of questions tackle the true and false of real estate listings.

And what happens just because a a few snow flakes drift to the ground. Into the weather forecast.

Accumulate around the property listings in the northern climates.

Where winter means a blanket of new fun white stuff.

In the backyard, surrounding the homes back where the green lush lawn, flower beds once bloomed, exploded.

Used to be behind the homes, houses in Maine needing selling.

The Maine property listing keys to be swapped, exchanged. The  musical chairs game to begin. Never stop.

So are we ready in the studio audience, the at home players ready to play for redeemable Active Rain blog post points? Suitable for camping gear, sporting goods like S&H Green stamps. Good enough.

Think we heard a painful groan or was that a feeble a yes so let's get The Real Estate Show on the road.

Myth number one... true or false. Homes in Maine don't sell, stop moving in winter.

True? (ANNOYING BUZZER SOUND) False.

Real estate, Maine homes, houses sell year round because job transfer happen all four seasons.

People's lives don't stop when a few Maine snow flakes happen. Or the red, silver mercury dips below a balmy 68 degrees.

And if some folks stop the marketing band wagon on their home next door, yours shines brightly if kept listed. On the market and being promoted to the hilt with aggressive promotion to get more exposure, attention. Because fewer places are in the available inventory. Like a dance, the less folks at the hoe down to consider being your partner for the shuck and jive, twist and shout  means you just improved the chances. Better odds for everyone to get to Texas two step. Continuously all night long. Woo hoo. Why waste good music sitting like a lump on a log as the clock winds down?

Myth number two ... if I list in the winter I have to move pronto, stat. Pretty much quick like a bunny. Hold the buzzer...anyone knows that lists, markets, sells listings for sale in Maine that contingencies about the possession date Active Rain Blog Posts Logohappen. All the time to make the matchmaking line up and time tables everyone can sign on and approve of to happen.

Properties. Maine real estate listings are bought where the homes are empty. Or when the buyer is not planning to move until spring any way. So seller goes home from the real estate closing, keeps the utilities up. And plans the slow boat to China approach for the Uhaul beep beep beeps. As the orange and black, white truck in all sizes backs up for the move 'em out scout in the spring. Work to match people's up lives.

It's more than the price as the end all and the details of the sale of a property listing means other factors like possession can be worked to please both sides of the real estate teeter totter.

In the balancing act to make a property sale happen when four walls and a roof are involved. Okay, the clock on the wall, Mickey's little white gloved hand is telling me time for a pause for the cause. We need a commercial break and will be right back. So run to the frig or the bathroom for a quick break but will see you on the other side of this spot cluster for more of "The Real Estate Game"... (fade to black, roll lead in ad for Mooers Realty.... Followed up with rotation of eavesdropping in on two Realtor robots chit chat.

Maine, one big state, less people and more wildlife happens here all four incredible seasons.

Rene ... Life waits for no one. So does the real estate market. List it, market it, sell it (repeat).

Margaret ... Like the winking at a girl in the dark theory...does not get good results. List, it, market it, turn the lights on for the show and tell. This baby is for sale...ready and waiting.

Excellent post about selling Maine real estate, Andrew.  This is certainly true in other areas of the country as well.
