Some Very Interesting Real Estate Statistics

Today the Orange County Register put out some interesting statistics they are as follows:

Orange County Median Home Price
Note the numbers are good as the median prices are still very good compared to last year. However the median price is lower than it was last month.

Orange County Real Estate Market Statistics

Mortgage defaults are down and the Foreclosures are up from August but down 66.3 from September. Note that the inventory or the number of homes for sale are up giving the buyer more choice on a purchase. Also note the interest rate came down for the buyers. We still have prices lower that 2007 and great interest rates.
