From Belmullet, County Mayo, Irish button accordion wizard David Munnelly and his band exploded onto the international Irish music scene with hit albums in Europe and Japan, dual CD releases in North America, a PBS special, and a BBC special. From the same talented family that has given the world Riverdance fiddle sensation Eileen Ivers, David began his career with The Chieftains, the best-known Irish traditional group in the world, before starting his own group in 2002. His band has concert dates throughout the world including The Kennedy Center, The National Concert Hall, Dublin, Irish Unplugged Tour of Europe, and will appear at the Barclay in a celebration of Ireland that will have you dancing in the aisles.
