Halloween Rice Krispie Treats Recipe

by Cat Davis

I was googling this afternoon for easy to make Halloween treats and I came upon a recipe by Cat Davis.  She is a work from home mom and this easy to make Halloween treat is her recipe. I found her recipe creative and fun.   I felt that I needed to share this recipe with other moms who are trying to find easy to make recipes for this coming week.

This is an easy and simple recipe. You will need an ice cream cookie bowl pan and your favorite rice krispie treat recipe. A typical recipe will consist of 6 Tbs of slightly melted butter, a tab of vanilla extract, 10.5 oz of mini marshmallows and 6 Cups of rice  krispie cereal.  Mix your ingredients, then add a little orange food coloring or a combination of red and yellow food colors. Place the mixture in the cookie bowl.

Wait till it cools ...then put two of the pieces together to create a pumpkin shape.

Then squirt a little green icing wiggle that will look like a vine.

Add a small tootsie roll to the top of the pumpkin that resemble a stem.

Decorate the eyes and the mouth with black icing.

The only thing that is left to do is to enjoy the tasty treats. Have a wonderful Halloween!!!

The little treats decorated as pumpkins are adorable.  When I was a kid I loved Rice Krispie treats.  I haven't had any in years!
