Book Recommendation: Rasputin’s Shadow by Raymond Khoury

I loved your recommendation of the Charles Todd duo (mother and son).  I read the first inspector Rutledge book and loved the writing almost more than the story.  They really know how to put the reader in the scene viscerally.  I will read the Rasputin story.  My paternal grandfather (a colonel in the Czar's army) was as the court of the czar in those days and had met Rasputin and was friends with those who offed him.  

I also reported my absence on your blog roll and several others too, to AR.  I am sure they will fix the glitch

Roy, these are good selections for thriller novels.  I love reading a book that lays the foundation, and then works the way through a maze of activities, which will ultimately in the ending, never revealing until the enad of the book.  I have not read any of these, but will add to my list the next time I buy a book.  Thanks for sharing.

Those sound like great October-Halloween book titles, Roy!  I've have a fascination for documentaries about The Knights Templar and Rasputin.  I'm betting your suggested books would provide entertaining reading!
