One of my Pinterest Boards is "America use to be the land of the free" ... yes I know we should never write blogs about politics and ideology on Active Rain but I've never been one to pay much attention to what we should or should not do unless I've gotten those instructions from God... I also have a Board "I Love America" and I always have, I love freedom and each year that goes by I see us losing more and more freedom but most Americans are more interested in what is going on with the Kardashian Family than what is going on with our government... I mean how many voted for American Idol and how many voted for the President of the United States... I rest my case...
I am 74 years young so I doubt I will be around when our county is no longer the country that I love but I can not help but worry about my grandchildren and for sure I would be worried about myself if I were not in a financial position to provide whatever I need for health care, but many of the elderly are not in that position.
One of my sons is an ER Doc... ( God bless him, I wish he would quit ) do you know that they no longer are permitted to admit folks over 70 unless they are able to diagnose what is wrong with them... no more admitting the old folks for observation... they also now have anywhere from 2-3 hours of computer work to do after their shift.. Oh and 6 doctors last month on staff quit... Oh and my sister's doc in Florida 59 years old quit and is opening 2 restaurants... so folks I think it's time to wake up and take our country back... When the big leader of the Health Care Program - Kathleen Sabelius has the audacity to say she doesn't work for the people that want her to resign... I want to stop paying my taxes because my taxes go to pay her salary... That's right folks... these fools work for us the "worker bees" and we the people let them enslave us more and more with each passing day... Come on tell me you love Nancy Pelosi.. "Let's vote for it and then see what's in it"... or Harry Reid "They all want to pay more taxes"... Here come the Hunger Games...
Oh well enough ranting... but as you can tell I'm pissed off... I am always searching for future leaders and Dr. Ben Carson is a man that I admire and have the utmost respect for. I have read all 6 of his books ... all are wonderful and I especially recommend "America The Beautiful"
