Would You Buy A HAUNTED HOUSE?? Or one located by a cemetery??
This time of year it is always fun to be scared and wonder about the supernatural. While some may like the quite neighbors of the cemetery, others are just creeped out by the very thought. Interestingly enough 38% of those surveyed by Realtor.com stated that they would not buy a haunted house. 36% said maybe and only 26% said they would. 12% would pay full market value for the haunted pad and 88% expected a 1% to 50% a price reduction.
For those considering buying a haunted house there were some deal killers for them as well.
- 75% would not buy the home if there were levitating objects
- 63% would not buy if objects moved from where they were placed
- 63% would not buy if there were ghost sightings
- 60% would not buy based on strange noise (foot steps door slamming etc)
