That’s What (ActiveRain)Friends Are For….

Oh goodness, what would I do without my ActiveRain Friends, especially Sharon and Roger (BARFF).  

Yesterday I was at Marshall’s doing some “sourcing”(shopping) for an upcoming staging.  Of the “Good, Bad and Ugly” of vacant home staging, this definitely falls under the “GOOD” part!!!

I was only in need of 1 accessorybut my cart kept taking me up and down every aisle in the housewares department.

That’s when I did it… I made a call to my good friend, Sharon Tara!

              All it took was a call to Sharon.  I stopped!  Well after 1 basket!    

 

And then today, while I was in the grocery store I passed something that usually shows up in the fall.  It’s a signal that cooler weather is on the way!   No more risk of meltdown in our 90+ degree weather.

There they were… Mallomars!   I’ve loved them since I was a kid.  All I wanted was one… just one but you have to buy the whole box!

Another phone call…… Hello, BARFF?

Sounds like it was a good thing you made those 2 important calls to 2 important friends in Active Rain..I'm sure you feel better with the added reinforcement concerning your need to practice some restraint:).

I think you should have rewarded yourself, bought them, ate them all and then proceeded to the beach, walked up and down to burn the calories and enjoy the warmth and sunshine. I am like you, i could not eat just one.

Hella- well, my problem is that those little puddings wouldn't have lasted long in my house!!!! LOL

Debbie- I could have had a second cart.  Thank goodness Sharon picked up the phone. 

Dorie- I have restraint about some things but chocolate and shopping for goodies for the house aren't in that category!

BARFF- they had those cookies sitting right there at the endcap staring at me!

Bobbie- yes, pick up the phone and call someone.

Barbara- that we are!  

Jared and Amanda- it's not like any other community that I know.

BarbaraT- not just the points here, right!

Scott- oh good grief.... I should have called you!!!

Roy- it's too true.  Larry will place things in the basket and what a surprise when I check out.

Hi Kathy - It all comes down to knowing which friends to call. Do NOT call me on a Mallomars-type situation - I'd just tell you to get at least 3 boxes AND some white cheddar cheezits!
