Don't Let a Little (Okay a lot) of Rain Stop You From Enjoying Halloween!
Places to Celebrate Halloween in and around the League City area if it's raining.
Well, it sure has started to be a crummy day weather wise here in League City and the Houston area. What a bummer for all those little kiddos that look forward to this day year round. But, don't worry there is all sorts of indoor Halloween events your family can enjoy. Yes, of course outdoors would be so much more fun but if it's all soggy and wet it might just be worth it to bring the fun indoors.
If you live in or around the League City or surrounding areas, there are still Places to Celebrate Halloween in and around League City if it's raining. So dress those kids up in the expensive Halloween costumes they had to have and go get some FREE candy!
- The League City Library is open from 1-8pm today for those cute little lady bugs, super heroes, etc. while supplies last.
- If you want to venture a little further away take a trip to the Children's Museum where there will be trick or treat stations. The museum opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 8 p.m. on Halloween and, as it is every Thursday, admission is free between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. For more information visit: cmhouston.org.
- Another indoor option is the Spooky Spectacular Carnival at the Woodlands Recreation Center in Bear Branch Park. Admission is $5 for children, but parents get in free. The carnival hours are from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. For more information, call the office at: 281-210-3950.
- Katy Mills Mall is offering Boo Bash which takes place from 5-9 pm. There will be games, trick-or-treating, and many more fun activities.For more information call: 281-644-5015 or visit: simon.com/mall/katy-mills.
- Take a trip to Galveston and explore one of the many "Haunted" mansions. Now this may be something fun to do with the older kiddos.
