My mom always said the easiest way to remember which direction we needed to change our clocks was to remember 2 seasons! In the spring, we “Spring Forward” giving us sun later in the day. In the fall, we “Fall back” to shorter days of sun.

It’s that time folks! Remember to set your clocks back when you go to bed Saturday night so you are set for Sunday, November 3rd, 2013!

Hi Dorie, I can't wait. I get up early and it is dark when I go out to get the paper. With the time change, it will make it earlier to find, it, LOL. Mostly, it is on the side walk or driveway edge where the the first inches of the sprinklers hit it. When I had family visiting, they parked on the driveway and sure enough, on those days, it was always under the car.

Good morning, Dorie. I look at daylight savings time with mixed emotions. At times I think it is a good thing and at times it gets to be a real bother. Nevertheless the hands of time dictate change. I reckon, this is a change we can all live with.

Hi Dorie, I'll miss the daylight in the evening hours for showings - this time of year, typically requires two showings - the first, after work one day and if they like the interior of the home, we have to schedule the following weekend during the day to see the exterior! I'm ready for daylight savings time already! LOL
