Thousands of Arizona Real Estate Agents - Where Do You Begin?
Yesterday I was at the Long Realty Semi-Annual meeting held in Oro Valley at the Hilton El Conquistador Hotel.
Judy Lowe, Commissioner of the Arizona Department of Real Estate was one of the speakers. She shared some very interesting statistics!
There are 84,000 licensees in real estate in the State of Arizona
Of them, 54,000 are ACTIVELY practicing Real Estate
14,000 agents are inactive - although they have taken the classes and keep their license at the ADRE.
700 agents a month leave the business, state wide
450 join the field of Real Estate a month
I always enjoy looking around the room at the plethora of agents gathered that work at Long Realty. There's somewhere around 900 in the Tucson area, but according to the search, there are 1257 that have their license hung at Long Realty.
