Who is going to win the Democratic nomination for President?

I keep watching this race for President go back and forth between Clinton and Obama. Today the news is all about how Obama is having issues because of tapes from his preacher. Last week it was all about Clinton and the really stupid things being said by her husband and a former VP candidate....next week...who knows.

If you asked me right now who I think will win I could not give you an answer...I guess that means the winner is probably John McCain. He sits back, raises money, and lets the other two self destruct.

I really did not believe until recently that a Republican could win. This seemed as sure fire a Dem victory as could be predicted in 40 years.

I am no longer sure...seems all three candidates are very flawed and it is any candidates race to lose! I wonder which of the three will put our Country first?

well, here we are back again. could not resist the title. donno is the answer, and it's not a pretty picture. which is about as apolitical statement as we can make.

truth is our solution is for both hillary and mccain to do it together. of course that can't happen. and barrack just is not ready yet.

cheers

As for me... I do not belong to any organized political party... I'm a Democrat.  Both Hillary and Obama continue to shoot themselves in the foot.

The campaign has been reduced to some pretty low mudslinging.  I am not sure I would vote for either one and I am a Democrat.

Oh Gawd!   That SNL on "Obama Girl" was hilarious!

Karen-Anne - I love that!  I don't belong to any organized party either....I too am a democrat and it is pretty scaaaaaaaaary..
But the trend for the democrats is to seize defeat out of the jaws of victory.

Gary - Here we go again. How do you or any of us know which candidate is ready or not? I would rather have someone in the office who is against the War in Iraq than someone WHO SUPPORTED THE WAR and all of a sudden saying some crap that she regrets voting for the war. How the heck can you vote for the war in the first place?

A lot of family members have lost loved ones over this stupid yeah stupid war. And I am supposed to vote for someone who is using her husband's laurels to try to get into the office? At first she said that I have experience. All of a sudden, she is preaching "Change" and "Hope"-Words Barack have been using since Day One." All of a sudden, she abandons ship and jumps on the bandwagon. Come on. You can't be serious. Give me a break. I understand Gary that those are your views and I respect that. I am just voicing my opinion. You are still one of my favorites on Active Rain - LOL. May the best person wins.

I have been anti Hillary for a long time. (I was for Fred Thompson) But the more I learn about Obama concerns me.  I don't care how people want to individualize a person there is truth in your are who you associate with.  Barack's mentor if out there on the left.  Scary to think of Obama as the President, isn't it.

It is a shame there is not a stronger Republican candidate because, one of these two will probably win in November.  Until the last few days I was hoping the race would be Obama and McCain.  Then I didn't care who won because, I thought it was just a democratic presidential cycle.  But now I may have to actually consider supporting McCain instead of just voting for him.  No matter who you are supporting this is becoming an exciting campaign.

Who cares...the Republicans and in this case McCain will win the nomination. It is all about the electoral college and not the people.
