What do you know about Nocatee?  Here’s some info.  Nocatee is a new coastal master-planned community located in Ponte Vedra, FL and has been named the 6th best-selling community in the US.  It is 25 square miles (1700 acres) in size with 2/3rds of it set aside for preserve, amenities, parks, etc. and nature in general.

The amenities currently offered and to be installed include but not limited to, a Splash Water Park with planned expansion, Greenway Trails, Nocatee Preserve, the Community Park, fitness center, dog parks, Crossswater Hall in the Welcome Center and oh, so much more – a junior Olympic sized pool, basketball courts, tennis, a community garden, a kayak launch on the ICW.   A fire station is planned for 2014, a Daily’s gas station with its “Dash” restaurant, Dick’s Wings, Yobe Frozen Yogurt (opening next week for you fans).  5000 people are now attending the Nocatee Farmer’s Market!   Nocatee even has its own television channel and radio station!

As for education, the Ponte Vedra High school opened in 2008, the new St Johns County k-8 school is scheduled to open for the 2014-2015 school year and land has been reserved for 5 more elementary schools and two middle schools. The frenzy of fall activities has already been going on with a scarecrow building event, hayrides, country music, a pre-Halloween party and the list goes on. You will have a good time here!

But, at the end of the day, in order to live the Nocatee lifestyle, you have to live there!  Here is a list of the current – and thriving – neighborhoods: The Enclave at the Town Center, Greenleaf Village, Green Preserve, Kelly Pointe, Lakeside at Town Center, Willowcove, Del Webb Ponte Vedra (an over 55 active adult community), Coastal Oaks and Brookwood; plus a new community opening soon, Greenleaf Lakes.   Home prices start in the $190’s and can go well into the $400,000 range and above for custom estate homes.  You will find many nationally known builders represented in these neighborhoods.   Willowcove also offers townhomes from the $190’s, but Austin Park is sold out and there are currently no available condos at Tidewater.  Do you think the message is getting out?

If this isn’t “TMI”, you can go to http://www.Nocatee.com for tons more information or call me, Murrell Weissinger, at 904.669.2146 or you can call the Welcome Center at 904-924-6863. They are very welcoming!
