In Plymouth, Massachusetts, fall home sales are up a bit from last year, while prices are just about the same as last year at this time. There aren't any bidding wars, and no full price sales except on a few newly constructed homes.

It's important for sellers to understand that, with 335 houses on the market in the town of Plymouth today, more than a quarter of the completed sales are for houses that have been on the market for less than 30 days.

Buyers have several options in every price range. With a pre-approval in hand, prepared buyers should be able to buy the home they want when it comes on the market.

Some very good numbers. Hopefully some of the positive trends will continue. I am doing a refinance in Marshfield right now that I couldn't do a couple of years ago as the property as upside down, now the value allows these folks to refinance both their mortgages.

Brad, The closed sale number looks good to me. Of course we are moving into colder temps so that may be challenged a bit but it certainly is a better market than a few years ago.
