We Do It Twice A Year, But Why?

By
Real Estate Agent with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Koenig Rubloff Realty Group - Chicago, IL

Twice a year we endure participate in the Changing Of The Clocks ritual.  Fortunately with so many "smart" phones, computers and appliances, we have fewer to change these days.  Supposedly, it takes about a week or so for our bodies to fully adjust to the time change.

I didn't know that.

I thought it'd be fun to see what other trivia is associated with changing our clocks to and from Daylight Savings Time.  And don't-cha know, someone else thought the same thing and has already designed an online quiz.

Take this quiz and see how much you know about Daylight Savings Time.

Hi Karen~ I don't think it's necessary to change the time. Arizona doesn't participate and it works ok for them!

well I got a 90 too.  Never heard it called anything but daylight savings time.  Interesting.  The only clocks I still own that I have to change are the stove and the microwave clocks.

Hi Donna, I never quite understood why some states change their clocks and others don't.  Like you said, it seems to work fine either way.

Hi Teresa, Hope you caught up on your sleep last night.

Hi Tammy, I cheated and left the microwave on 00:00 o'clock.   :)
