How Our Company Name Came About
I enjoyed hearing about the transitions in Joe's company name, it would be nice to hear about other companies and their histories, maybe I will share mine someday soon.
How Our Company Name Came About
We are continually being asked how we came up with the name Right Trac. I am always fascinated by how names come about, so here is the evolution.
In 1979 the company was Northeast Capital Funding Corp, licensed only in Ct. We were always being asked to give referrals to our clients in other states and often the referral that were given out, did not work out so well and didn’t always make us look good. So we wanted to become licensed in additional states.
There were too many licensing issues with the name “Northeast” in the New England states we wanted to add. We did more research and decided to do a name change to solve the problem, so we settled on Access Capital Corp. and that happened in Nov. of 1993.
In early 1997 I took home a box of thank you letters that had been sent to me over the years and started reading. A common theme became apparent. “Thank you for getting us on the right track, thank you for getting us on the right track over and over again. So that is what started the ball rolling on doing more research in the different states we were licensed.
In March of 1997, we did the 3rd name change and became Right Trac Financial Group, Inc. So now you know the rest of the story.
