The Sumter SC Real Estate Market had a strong finish for the month of October with 26 properties closed during the week of October 26th to November 1, 2013. An increase in the closing of the transactions in Sumter is typical as this reduces the interim interest buyers have to pay at closing thus reducing their closing costs. October 2013 ended with home sold numbers back in 2012 range, but it is still a great year! It is typical to see a slow down in the sales after school starts. The rental market activity was up at the end of the month indicating that people are still moving and the market hasn’t stopped.
