Real Estate Blog in the North Georgia mountains

This is a blog about all things real estate in the North Georgia mountains and beyond.  I live in the mountains, in the edge of Gilmer and Fannin Counties and have been in the real estate business here since 1984.  I have seen alot of ups and downs, the closest to this was back in the 80's, though. 

It's the perfect time for us realtors to explore new and more cost effective ways to advertise.  I, and many others, advertised in media that was very costly and we didn't get the bang for our buck that we expected and deserved.  Times like these cause you to back up and take a long hard look at just how much you are getting for the $ you spend.  I have found that I was really throwing away much of my advertising dollars when I could have been getting more exposure for free.

Anyone found that to be true??
