Crockett Park in Brentwood TN
Crockett Park basically makes up the 90 degree angle of Wilson Pike and Crockett Road, along with Crockett Elementary and Woodland Middle. It is located at 1500 Volunteer Parkway.
The park consists of over 164 acres and is Brentwood's largest park. Here are some of its features:
- eight lighted diamonds used for softball and baseball
- numerous soccer and multi-purpose fields, some with lights
- paved biking and running trails
- disc golf course
- indoor soccer facility run by Williamson Co Parks & Rec
- seven lighted tennis courts
- many picnic tables and benches throughout
- pavilion that can be reserved
- bathroom facilities and water fountains
- large playground
- Eddy Arnold Amphitheater
- historic Cool Springs House
Fields and pavilion may be reserved in advance. Crockett Park in Brentwood TN is pet friendly and there are pet waste pick-up centers along the trails. Pets must be on a leash while in the park.
There are hundreds of parking spots but on a really busy day you'll be lucky to find one! Several neighborhoods have walking trails that lead to Crockett Park. The best mode of transportation is by bike or foot along one of these trails. Neighborhoods in walking distance of the park include Indian Point, Concord Hunt, Brentwood Glen, Brenthaven, and Somerset.
The only entrance to the park is via Crockett Road at the light between Holy Family Catholic Church and Crockett Elementary School. The park is open from 8:00 am til 10:00 pm.
