Forest Oaks is one of the subdivisions in Smithville MO that I've recently had the opportunity to sell several very nice homes in. Forest Oaks is a community of about 160 homes located South of the Smithville area. Homes are priced in the $170,000 to $250,000 price range. Styles range from ranch and reverse 1.5 story models to 1.5 story and 2 story homes. The home shown in this photo is an Atrium Split model, 4 bedroom, 3.5 baths, with a 3 car garage and a finished lower level family room.
I was discussing this subdivision with my buyers agent, Scott Parman and we realized Forest Oaks subdivision is one of those areas that most buyers are completely unaware of. Forest Oaks location is only about a 20 minute drive to downtown Kansas City and a 10 minute drive to Kansas City International Airport. It's also a mere minutes to Smithville Lake. It's the ideal subdivision for someone that wants to live just outside the hussle and bussle of a big city, yet still be close enough without a long commute.
