I always like Jordons attitude, and it is true that we generally get what we expect from people. So Jordon is wise to let his tenants know just how happy he is that they are "good tenants".
Expressing Thanks Today - My Tenants
I sent all of my tenants an email today to 'thank them' for being good tenants. Yes we have had some bumps in the road, but I think we have some of the best tenants in metro Atlanta. What makes these tenants special?
For one thing they really try to 'own the home' so to speak. They like to think of there home as their own. They express pride in ownership when they don't actually own the properties.
Another thing I like is how they take care of the properties. They do whatever they can to make repairs and keep repair costs low. They change the air filters, clean the carpets, and so much more. Tenants often have the 'apartment after affect' when they move into a single family home. In the apartment they could call the management office about the smallest of things (the light bulb is out) and have someone running out the next day. My tenants recongize they are in a home, and they have adjusted their thinking as such.
And who cannot appreciate timely payment of the rent. There is a 90% on time payment history with some evening paying early before the due date. You don't realize how much stress you can take on dealing with a late paying tenant until you have one. So I am blessed with almost all ontime, before time payors.
