This market report is about units FOR RENT in the Silver Spring Md. 20906 zip code short of those in the Active Seniors Community of Leisure World.  There was 25 homes on the market at the end of February. There was a mixture of Detached, Townhouses, and Condos; ranging in size for 5 bedrooms down to 2 bedrooms. 5 Bedrooms

There were three 5 bedroom homes on the market at the end of month.  They ranged in listed rents of $2000 to $3000; with the average being $2533.  The homes have been on the market from near a month and a half (43 days) to just over two months (61 days).

No applications were accepted to rent a 5 bedroom home during the month.

A lease was signed on one 5 bedroom home during the month for $1900 and this home was on the market for only 1 week (7 days).

4 Bedrooms

There were seven 4 bedroom homes on the market at the end of month.  They ranged in listed rents from a low of $1,750 to a high of $2,800; with the average being $2,164.  The homes have been on the market from three weeks (21 days) to near eight months (238 days).

Applications have been received on two 4 bedroom homes listed for $1900 and $1950; and were on the market for just over two weeks (15 days) and near five and a half months (164 days).

Leases were signed during the month on another two 4 bedroom homes that where listed for $1550 and $1650.  These homes were on the market for 17 days and 47 days.

3 Bedrooms

There were six 3 bedroom homes on the market at the end of month.  They ranged in listed rents from a low of $1,495 to a high of $2,000; with the average being $1,745.  The homes have been on the market from just over two weeks (15 days) to near 5 months (155 days), with the average being near three months (86 days).

Applications where received on five 3 bedroom homes during the month.  The lasted listed rents ranged from $1,495 to $1,900.; with the average being $1,722.  These homes were on the market for from just one week (7days) to over thirteen months (412 days); with the average being just short of five months (146 days).

Another six 3 bedroom homes wee rented during the month.  These homes were last listed from $1,399 to $1,900; with the average being $1,617.  The homes were on the market from 9 days to over seven months (211 days); with the average being just short of four months (113 days).

2 Bedrooms

There were nine 2 bedroom homes on the market at the end of month.  They ranged in listed rents from a low of $1,250 to a high of 1,500; with the average being $1,374.  The homes have been on the market from just over three weeks (24 days) to 7 months (210 days), with the average being near three months (93 days).

Applications where received on two 2 bedroom homes during the month.  The lasted listed rents ranged from $1,350 to $1,450.; with the average being $1,400.  These homes were on the market for from just short of one month (29days) to shortly over a month (38 days); with the average being right around 1 month (34 days).

Another two 2 bedroom homes wee rented during the month.  These homes were last listed from $1,400 to $1,425.  The homes were on the market from one month (30days)  to just over three months (91 days); with the average being at near 2 months (61 days).

 

These rentals are spread around the area.  They are located in the Wintergate At Longmead, Tivoli, Pt Wheaton Out, Parker Farm, Norwood Village, Norbeck Hills, Montgomery Chase, Longmead, Layhill Village East,  Greenwood Knolls, Grand Bel Manor, Glenwaye Gardens, Glenmont Village, Glenmont Hills & Heights, Georgian Colonies, Fairways, Conn. Ave park, Conn. Ave Estates, Bonifant woods, and Bel Pr Manor.
