My feet are killing me and my phone battery is dead... 15 houses down 3 to go...! Images of Get Smart flash through my mind ....Now if I could take my HEELS off and dial......wouldn't that be a stress saver?  Now in these heels, I could probably fit my phone, computer, printer and some lunch! 

Then again...have we come a long way or NOT ????  20 years ago my first cell was a car plug-in the size of a boot.........the office computer was ........exactly that.....one office computer.......that looked like this!  

computer paper with perforated holes on both sides....bullpens instead of offices decorated in the latest boutique style.......thermal fax machines that well ...you know......Contracts with carbon paper                                                                         

 

between the copies......and driving 50 miles to get initials......

Waiting in the car at curbside  

 

while the listing realtor tried to convince the seller - that they should really let the ceiling fans go with the deal......being 2 am......and all.......lol........

                                                                

I sit here thankful oh Lord.......that I'm a Realtor in 2010!  Sore feet 'n all.........

Every day there is a new gadget and new methods-- hard to keep up with it all- technology has definately made drastic improvements.

Liz- My first cell phone was the one in the bag....remember those?  LOL.  It was pretty heavy.  I am also grateful technology has changed.  It has made things much easier.

Liz, not to mention all those "MLS books" that had to be manually updated and thumbed through to find those 15 houses to show! I wasn't in the business then and probably would not have made it if I was.  We certainly have it a lot easier today even on the hardest days.
